What do you want to get out of a QRecall menu extra?

Just a smaller activity display than the monitor window? A way of starting and stopping actions, suspending the schedule, that sort of thing?

Yes exactly just like a spinning sync circle or something to that effect that lives in the top toolbar (next to your time, wireless indicator, etc).
