I know that Apple has been shifting away from AFP for many years, but I'm curious if people using QRecall to backup to network volumes are using AFP or SMB protocol.

I've been using Qrecall for several years to back up two machines to a NAS (Asustor) using AFP - the NAS suffered a ransomware attack which locked zip archives and disk images but failed to lock QR archives, otherwise no problems.
