I installed the new beta 53 version.

Now, when I launch the QRecall application...the Activity window opens...even though this option is unchecked under Preferences...Monitor....

I can verify that I'm seeing the same behavior also.

Nice catch!

The activity monitor was using the wrong preference value to determine if it should open the window at application startup.

It's all straightened out now, and the fix will show up in the next beta release—which, if everything is working correctly, will appear in the activity window.
